Long-term parking and car storage in Mallorca
Leave your own car at Azul Cars’ Palma base between visits to Mallorca. Choose covered or open-air parking, collection from your villa or Palma Airport, and a separate return point. Book the dates you need; battery care, washing and ITV handling can be requested while you are away, with costs agreed separately.
A Palma base between island visits
For a second-home owner, the useful question is not just where to leave the car. It is who will collect it, what happens during the months away, and where it will be returned. Our base is Carrer Son Malferit 18, 07007 Palma. Residents leaving for work or winter can use the same dated booking, without needing an annual contract.
Covered parking provides overhead shelter. Open-air parking has no roof and costs less at the current tariff. Choose the option for your car and budget, rather than assuming that ‘covered’ means a climate-controlled garage. Tell us about vehicle dimensions, a low battery, starting problems or special handling before the collection is agreed.
What do one, two and three months cost?
These are parking-only examples for 30, 60 and 90 days, using the current graduated bands. Each band applies only to its own days: reaching a cheaper band does not reprice the earlier days. Calendar months have different lengths; enter your exact dates for the booking total. VAT is included; collection, delivery, extras and any approved out-of-hours supplement are separate.

Villa collection, airport return — or the reverse
Choose the two points independently. We can collect at an accessible villa or home address and return at Palma Airport, or collect at the airport and bring the car to your home for your next visit. Address-point journeys are calculated by distance from the Palma base. You can also bring and collect the car at the base without a transfer fee.
Add gate and meeting instructions, your return date and a reachable contact. Collection and return reports record photos, mileage and fuel or battery level. Office hours are daily 07:00–21:00; outside-hours handovers need approval. If plans change, contact the team so the extension and revised return can be agreed.
Choose care while you are away
Tyre & fluids check
Request tyre-pressure and fluid-level checks. Long stationary periods can cause tyre flat spots, particularly with low pressure; not every flat spot is permanent or needs new tyres.
Washing and ITV handling
Request an exterior hand wash or interior and exterior cleaning before return. If ITV falls due during the stay, ask us to arrange attendance before expiry. Station fees and approved work are separate.

Vehicle care services and current fees
Insurance, baja temporal and ITV
An actively registered car habitually based in Spain must keep compulsory insurance even when stored off-road. Storage alone is not an insurance exemption. Ask your insurer about theft, fire, damage and the policy conditions during non-use; do not assume a storage booking replaces your own cover.
DGT baja temporal costs €8.67 for the application or annual renewal, checked 6 November 2026. The usual maximum is one year, renewable; without renewal the car returns to active status. In baja temporal on private property, current ITV and compulsory insurance are not required, but the car cannot be driven until reactivated. Tell us before arranging any driven collection or return.
A voluntary storage baja does not automatically refund the current year’s IVTM. Check your municipality’s treatment, particularly before reactivation. For an active car, check the ITV due date before leaving; an appointment is not permission to drive after it expires. Read the Mallorca ITV guide
Storage questions
Can you collect from my villa and return to the airport?
Yes. Choose collection and return separately. An accessible villa address, Palma Airport or our Palma base can be combined in one booking. Each transfer is itemised; gate access and meeting instructions must be agreed, and outside-hours requests need approval.
Can I cancel insurance while the car is stored?
Not simply because it is off-road. An actively registered vehicle habitually based in Spain must retain compulsory insurance. A qualifying DGT baja temporal for a vehicle kept on private property is different: it cannot be driven until reactivated. Discuss the policy and other risks with your insurer.
What if the ITV expires while I am away?
Tell us the due date before leaving and request ITV handling while it is still valid. An appointment does not make driving with expired ITV lawful. If it has already expired or the car is in baja temporal, tell the team so lawful transport arrangements can be reviewed.
