When the shuttle makes sense
If you can manage your luggage and allow time for reception and the bus, a shuttle is a sensible saving. In this sample, Aena Long Stay and independent shuttle parking cost less than valet. For a straightforward week with one or two adults, paying more may solve a problem you do not have.
Aena’s timetable applies only to Long Stay. Independent operators may run on-request minibuses. Check late-night service, luggage capacity, key retention, cancellation and the return procedure. An advertised drive time does not include reception or waiting.
When valet is worth paying for
Valet removes the parking-bus leg — useful with children, pushchairs or several suitcases. You can also combine villa collection elsewhere in Mallorca with airport return. Covered parking, washing and ITV handling while away are separate choices, not included in every booking.
For a late flight, compare the actual approved hours and supplements before paying. Valet is not automatically a round-the-clock service. If you prefer to park yourself and keep the keys, Aena General or Preferente may be the better fit even when the price is higher than Long Stay.
Our Departures and Arrivals handover
Book your dates, flights, parking and return plan. The precise meeting point is confirmed in your booking; follow it and allow time for the personal handover as well as airline check-in. Bring keys and documents, remove valuables and point out existing damage. Collection and return photos, mileage and fuel or battery level are recorded online.
We take the car to our Palma base and return it at the agreed Arrivals point. For flight changes, update your booking and message the team; call or WhatsApp for urgent delays. Revised arrangements depend on access and availability. Never leave the vehicle or keys unattended, or wait in a taxi, bus or other restricted lane.

Parking questions
Which option was cheapest for the sampled week?
Aena Long Stay was €34 through Parkos for 1–8 December 2026, checked 6 November 2026. Independent open-air shuttle quotes were €38–43.95. These are dated marketplace quotes, not a promise for your dates; compare the current total and booking terms.
Can I leave the car in Express for a week?
No. Aena Express Departures and Arrivals have a two-hour maximum. Departures allows two free visits per vehicle per day, each up to ten minutes; Arrivals allows fifteen minutes free. If you exceed the free period, the whole stay is charged from its start.
Is Azul Cars the Aena VIP service?
No. Aena VIP is Aena’s own valet product. Mallorca Valet Parking is a separate service of Azul Cars, operated by AZUL VENTURES 2022 S.L. Our cars are parked at Carrer Son Malferit 18, Palma, not in Aena’s VIP parking facility.
What if my flight arrives after office hours?
Our office hours are daily 07:00–21:00. Request an outside-hours handover before booking; it requires approval and may carry a supplement. For a delay, update the flight details and contact the team. Revised timing depends on access and availability, not automatic flight tracking.
